View Full Version : Bunjee Jump....Out of business?

On Nov. 2 I ordered a jump/break cue online and got an email confirming the order saying it would be processed within 72 hrs.

I've emailed them twice with no response since then. Today I called the phone number contained in the order confirmation email I got from them and got a recording that the phone number had been disconnected.

So..out of business? Anyone know?

I think John is a partner with another company now. He posts here every once in awhile. Hopefully he can clarify any questions...

John also monitors and posts on the newsgroup rsb (rec.sport.billiard) which can be accessed through your newsreader or via google.com

Adios,

Hi Jim,

Could be? I heard Stealth went out of business. I think they were bought out. John Collins is now part or full owner of Fury Cues now. A lot of these business' are like casinos. They get them built up and dump them. That's why people can't retire at one job now days.

Chris...Stealth Cues is NOT out of business. That is a rumor posted by someone who is mad at Mark Stoller, for some reason. I spoke with Mark this morning, who asked me to post that Stealthcues.com is up, and being completed at this time. The new line of 2004 cues is available for view.

BunjeeJump.com is now owned by John Mayo. His contact information should be on that site. He is selling Bunjee products as well as other products.

The owner of the Bunjee brand is CueValue, owned and operated By John Urlacher. Bunjee products can also be purchased at their website http://www.cuevalue.com

Bunjee products may also be purchased at various retailer websites including Seyberts, Hawleys and Billiard Warehouse.

Not only are Bunjees still around they are less expensive than before and come with a logo and soon, joint protectors. They are still the best jump cue in my not-so- humble, experienced and biased opinion.

John Barton, John Mayo, John Urlacher.

That's a lot of John's, sounds like a conspiracy to me.

Cheaper you say? With logo and joint protectors?
I think I bought at the wrong time.

I wonder if my order will be shipped? I wonder what happened to my credit card number that I provided when I ordered the cue? I wonder what I'll find when I check my credit card statement? I wonder why I'd ever trust any pool company that had been around less than 20 years? I wonder if I'm the only one out here that's just a little p.o'd. ??? I wonder why those in charge of the bunjee company weren't responsible enough to stop the website from taking orders when they KNEW the order wouldn't ever be shipped...or I wonder if they just wanted to collect credit card numbers? Lots of possibilities. Yeah...I'm just a little po'd.....just a bit.

I dont' think I want one of their cues and I don't care if they'd cause an instant transformation and cause me to start hitting like Buddy!!! Well........maybe........ /ccboard/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I doubt that your card will be charged. Just call John Urlacher at CueValue. Things change unexpectedly. Why BunjeeJump.com is not responding is a mystery to us as well. At this point we can't do anything about it since we don't control the domain name.
