would like to know what method your league uses to rank teams and what the tiebreakers are.

one of mine does matches won/lost and the other uses total points made. the latter seems to now be changing to matches.

how do you do it??

When I played APA here it was matches, and ties were settled with a playoff.

Each team member plays only one opposing team member. They play a handicapped set. Each week a team gets one point for each set won plus one admin point if all dues are current and on time. Both kinds of points carry the same weight. Teams are ranked by points. Sets played, sets won, and admin points are the only stats tracked.

End-of-season ties split their end-of-season money. Example:
Two teams tied for 4th place split 4th and 5th place money.
A coin flip decides the two team's seeding into the post season tournament. Ties in the post season tournament are resolved by playing an extra (5th) set (this is a 4 on 4 format).
