Anyone really heavy in cue making/repair?

It looks heavy enough, and precise enough. /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif The bid price looks good. The down side would be the three phase, and lack of portability.

The lathe's definitely good enough for cue making or repair.
I don't know why he installed a hydraulic system unless the lathe has not threading gear.
I think you still would want a 3-jaw or better a 6-jaw chuck to go with this lathe. You need the regular chuck to clamp on the butt or shaft to cut and thread for the collars.
