Wally - as Richard Pryor once said," Men can write their names in the snow but women can only scribble."
DG - loved Pryor

Thought you would like this song.
"Oh, ain't it a beauty"
There ain't many men who are lucky engough to have one as long as mine.
The thing is as old as I am, but still it is doing fine.
Though many a time, I was afraid, t'was going on the blink.
But then, upon closer scrutiny, it proved to be in the pink.
I've always treated it carefully, and don't leave it lyin' about.
Before I put it away, I still remember to shake it out.
And if I should ever be too weak to hold it in the air.
I've instructed me wife to handle it with ever lovin' care.
Oh, aint it a beauty, and I have used it proudly all my life.
Oh, aint it a beauty, and if you don't believe me ask my wife.
Paddy O'Toole came callin' one day to tell me that he had heard.
That mine was bigger than his was, and he didn't believe a word.
So I bet him a buck and took him outside and laid it in the street.
He couldn't believe it when he saw it was over a hundred feet.
Oh I use it a lot in the summer and I use it a lot in the fall.
And I'm willing to bet, in the spring time, I use it the most of all.
Oh I've used it in December, on a cold and wintry day.
And I've written my name in a snowbank that was over a block away.
Now I must admit that it hasn't been used for 4 or 5 months or more.
But, it's hangin' there just as ready as it ever has been before.
And I'm willling to bet that I will still be using it for years.
Cause it the finest length of garden hose, they ever sold at Sears.
You know, for some reason, this song from over 30 years ago just popped into my head an I can't for the life of me remember what commedy record I heard it on.

You must have a very good memory to recall that one from the archives. Somewhere I have an entire CD of bawdy Irish songs. It may be the same guy.

This happened last time too. Is anyone else actually seeing something?
