hi i am currently an enthusiastic 9 ball pool player based in the uk (now 17years old) who has been playing for about 2 years now. I started plaing snooker when i was about 12 but made the switch to 9 ball after tuning in to the world championships a few years back and just been blown away by its sheer billiance. Any on to my problem, basically i am really into 9 ball and i want to start playing in competetive tournaments but i am yet to find a place where a 'junior' can play or enter? I understand that there is barely a 9 ball sceen in the Uk at all so i doubt anyone will know what a 'junior'can do but any help will be much apreciated.

Kind regards,

James, there isnt much of a junior scene in the UK.

Currently, there are 2 main tours in the UK, UK 9-Ball Tour and the BPPPA Tour. I am not sure of the age limits for both of them.

If you would like to know more, try www.pro9.co.uk (http://www.pro9.co.uk)

I run this site with another UK Tour player and I am sure you will get more responses their as it is more orientated to the UK scene.
