There was a 3 cushion billiards book printed in 1972 or 73. It explained everything about english, throws and banks. It showed diagrams of how the object ball reacted after being hit by the cue ball. The book was fantastic. It had a green cover. In the preface it talked about Mosconi and Hoppe.
Do you have any idea who the author or what the name of the book was.

You maybe referring to "The Game of Billiards" by Clive Cottingham, Jr., the copy I have has a green cover and does talk about Mosconi and Hoppe and is full of the illustrations and diagrams you mentioned. My copy was printed in 1964. I hope this helps!!!!!
