Stabbing @ Mothers Billiards (video link)

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police responding to reports of a fight on South Boulevard early Sunday morning found a man stabbed outside of a pool hall.

The attack occurred at Mother's Billiards at about 3 a.m. Police said that the victim was stabbed in the stomach with a broken bottle.

The victim was hospitalized. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.

They are asking anyone with information on the stabbing to call Crime Stoppers at 704 334-1600.

I guess you also heard about the fun they had at Empire this weekend as well. It's a shame that two of the biggest pool rooms in the city are places where it's hard to avoid trouble.

Yea Steve I saw that on the news also. About Three weeks ago they had a big fight at Players and wrecked the place. Must be something in the water. /ccboard/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I have lived in the DFW area for almost 13 years. When I heard the story about this Texas shooting I got very angry.

I have never heard of this "pool-hall"!!!

It is very interesting how, if there is ANY crappy 3x6 bar box or even a damn bumper-pool table, it is a POOL-HALL.

But only if something bad has happend there.
