View Full Version : In search of a cue.

I was just watching Jeanette vs. Kim Shaw and Kim was using a black wood to wood joint cue. It looked cool to me because the butt was pure black, nothing on it and I have been looking for a cue like that for a while. I looked her up on the internet and found that its a Murray Tucker cue. My question is, is there a cheap (maybe $75-$150) cue that I could take the shaft off and put a predator or something on it? (when the time comes! I dont think i'm even worthy of a predator shaft at this stage in the game) Thanks alot!

If you want a cheap cue to put a different shaft on you might look at players cues. I know several years ago Mcdermott made a plain black cue, and this would be one you wouldnt need to change a thing on. Ya might do some snooping around on ebay and see what you could find.

I built her a cue right after she came to the states. She wanted one the same length as her snooker cue (54") but she wanted it to be balanced further forward.

Sometime last year she made a cue swap. I don't know what brand she is using now but it is not mine.

Your cues look rock solid and pretty.
Now, about that table saw machine.... /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks Joey. My site is way out of date but murraytucker.com will be up and running shortly and it will be a lot more up to date with plenty of shop and construction pictures.

The CNC saw machine is still a gleam in my eye but my new template type machine is coming along nicely. Here are a few preview pictures
