View Full Version : Polishing balls

The table mechanic recovered the tables today. I keep the balls looking pretty good with the mini-buffer, but he did an exceptionally job of them. He had a old washing machine motor and fitted it with several buffing wheels. It was about as wide as the pool balls. He took what looked like a spray paint lid and covered it with a scrape of felt, and dropped the ball in the lid. He held the ball inside the lid against the buffing wheel. The wheel was dressed with a large brown polishing compound bar. I was impressed by the sheen by the balls. I found a web site with a product similiar to what the table mechanic used. http://www.rossinimarble.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=RMSI&Product_Co de=250100
