Well, I missed that news too. The recent thing that Jay posted about his site was this:
And, like Louis said, hope this Freds!
P.S. Louis, I laughed out loud when I read that!
This isn't his original post, but it refers to the problem.

You know SPetty someone come up with using the word Enron in place of a swear word. Now we can use Fred's instead of helps. That is funny and Fred's one liner, even when he knows it doesn't help!

I do remember that he had problems because of the Chat room he opened... what I didn't realize was his site is still down..
There were some great pics on that site. Lots of CCB players and good shots of the Pros.
I had uploaded some pics there, and was wanting to see some of the more recent pics.
I was just wondering.... If I remember correctly, the site had problems back in mid February.

Jay's chat room was tied in with Mirc. I don't know exactly how it works, but I know you could access it from his site or by going into Mirc. It was a channel there.
I caught two Trojans within the last 3-4 times I was in Mirc. I was able to clean them. I'm staying away from that place for now. I think there are a lot of hackers working in there. I don't know if this had anything to do with Jay's chat. This is just FYI, and I was just curious if anyone else had any problems with Mirc.

What is Mirc.???

Mirc is a version of irc.
So, what is irc you say? (I'll bet you said that.) lol
IRC stands for "Internet Relay Chat". It was originally written by Jarkko Oikarinen in 1988. Since starting in Finland, it has been used in over 60 countries around the world. IRC is a multi-user chat system, where people meet on "channels" (rooms, virtual places, usually with a certain topic of conversation) to talk in groups, or privately. There is no restriction to the number of people that can participate in a given discussion, or the number of channels that can be formed on IRC. ( http://www.mirc.com/ircintro.html )
