I read this and associated it to pool(of course.) Attitude, no matter the circumstances is about the only thing we CAN control, so I thought I'd pass this along to y'all...sid

The longer I live the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.
Attitude, to me, is more important than the facts. It is more important
than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures,
than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more
important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a
company; a church; a home. The remarkable thing is, we have a choice every
day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change
our past.. we cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is
play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced
that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.

And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes.

Proverbs 14:30 (NIV)
A relaxed attitude lengthens life; jealousy rots it away.

Hi Sid, I've read that before and it s a good post.Attitude is so important in pool. How do I react when another player flukes the nine and gets the rolls? Dealing with the hand one is dealt is very important. Reacting to adverse situations in pool with a POSITIVE ATTITUDE will determine whether one keeps their compusure and wins the match.

A fine thing to strive for ... but Faulkner knew this territory when he said: "The past isn't dead; it isn't even the past."

Yeah but your attitudes are often affected by the past and the inevitable?
