Tee and Cue Billiards: This product was devised by ex-convict Clyde Beasley, who says he conceived of the game while serving an 11-year sentence in California’s Folsom Prison for drug dealing. The game features a traditional pool table upon which the felt has been decorated with a series of wooden barriers to simulate various golf holes.
There are no water hazards or sand traps, but his demonstration version at the show did include tiny plastic palm trees to enhance the golf course mood.
Beasley designed the game without ever having golfed and is looking for distributors at retail prices planned to start around $500. Made by Beasley Creations Inc., Los Angeles.
