did Earl Strickland ever collect that million dollars for running 11 consecutive racks? this was approximatly four years ago ...the company that offered up the money tried to back out and much controversy ensued.

From what I have heard, Earl and the company settled out of court and non-disclosure was part of the deal.

It was also rumored that it was less than the Million..

CJ paid the first installment. Then they went to court. From what I've heard, it was nowhere near 1 million.

my understanding is that he settled out of court with the insurance company, as usual, the insurance company played the role of bookie in the deal, for something like 600K$. the suit was filed and during the negotiations, the lawyers for the insurance company were engaged in pretty agressive "discovery";)
