Dufferin once made a two-piece, wood-to-wood jointed cue that when assembled looked exactly like a one-piece bar cue. This was supposed to lull the locals into believing that you were just another hacker--before you ate their lunch. Anyone know if this cue is still around, and what its official name is?

There are about 60 of them on Ebay now. Most of them may not be Dufferin but many have the same maple leaf insert. I just bought one for $24.99, shipping included. They are a bit butt heavy so I took a little wood out of the end and it feels great now. I bought a 19 oz. and since I wanted about an 18 oz. it's fine now.

The cue is the Dufferin Phantom cue. It is still manufactured and sold by Dufferin. None of the major online dealers seem to carry it, but search Dufferin, Phantom and cue in a search directory and you will find several places that will sell it.
