That is amazing Wally, thanks for the schedule. /ccboard/images/graemlins/laugh.gif We get to watch the legends, that is amazing. Too bad they didn't include some with Segal, Mizerak, Varner, Rempe, when they were in their prime. But I'm happy. /ccboard/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Who knows. If this goes well maybe they'll do some more.

So you're not upset at the abundance of Lee v. Fisher matches? (Sorry UWPoolGod-you deserved that LOL)

Yeah after the fact I was like...man did I just say that out loud? But I didn't want to join the *deleted post* mafia.

Looking at Jeanette and Allison is always a good thing.

plus 16 hours of the legends of the sixties. This is better than paying Bert Kinister $50 a pop for those tapes LOL

Rod

I thought I'd never say this, but I guess I really wouldn't mind seeing the Atlantic City Last Call for 9-ball TV Matches that aired off and on for about 5 years.

Thanks for the schedule...I am on my way home now to clean out all of my wife's "Trading Spaces" shows the TIVO keeps recording. Since I got the thing, it tapes nothing but that show. If I see one more trashy looking colorful room with all those knick-knacks...Ill go down to the basement and shoot pool until I know for sure the show is over (at least 3 hours).

I have been combing the guide for the past several weeks hoping something would be on. Looks like they saved it all for one month's worth of air time. Thanks again.

Don't thank me. Thank ESPN for taking a chance.

If this comes off everyone on these boards should send ESPN a nice email thanking them and telling them how much they enjoyed it. That will increase the chances of them doing it again.

Right on, I was going to mention that earlier. If viewers take it for granted without saying something it might not happen as often. Lately there has been more pool on than there has been for a long time.

I agree completely, ESPN should be made aware of their demographic and its popularity. Perhaps they should run their own version of the Golf Channel's "Big Break." It would seem more appropriate for pool (at least in the title). Wait, I am getting ahead of myself....

Good idea. We thanked ESPN last year when they aired 4 hours straight (or was it 6 hours?) of the Mosconi cup. We got bashed by some of the ESPN regulars I guessed but to hell with them!

Thanks for the headsup Wally!

Thanks Wally.

I can't wait to watch the old stuff. They are legends that I have never gotten a chance to watch.

I can't believe they aren't showing any matches with Helena Thornfeldt or Jennifer Chen. Helena was the most televised player last year...or so they said at the banquet. It's kind of unfair.

I used to record some pool shows on ESPN since I got my TV tuner card last year. Until about 20 different matches, I quit for a while since I ran out of hd space. now that i've got a new hd, i'm looking forward to recording some more.
my friend asked me to share some of them with him via p2p. i noticed some other people are interested in downloading them as well. i'm thinking of putting up a web page containing links to those files. i wonder if any of you guys are interested too. and one more thing, do you think it will in a way harm espn? i mean, do you think people will say that i make people not watch pool on espn no more etc? i dont want to spoil things up since we are expecting more pool on espn.
