I also hated the Opel GT - poor mans corvette, Triumph TR - 7 - looked like a wedge, Kharmen Ghia - nothing good I can say about it, Monte Carlos from 78 - mid 80's until they came out with the SS version.

Not sure about the corvair, but I had a 1960 Plymouth Valiant that was push button automatic on the right side of the dash, and a lever underneath for park.

My parents had one of the most interesting cars of the time. It was a 1963 AMC Rambler, 3 speed on the column but no clutch. You would shift like a regular stick shift but never had a clutch pedal. I think it was called a centrifugal clutch.

I feel like "Mona LIsa Vito"-"My two brothers were mechanics,my father was a mechanic,his 4 uncles were mecahnics"ha ha ha-no,but really, before my brother went FDNY, he was a mechanic-62 Vette,camaros galore-Z-28-56 Chevy-and you think he'd tuneup my car-nope-showed me how and tell me do it! ha ha ha ha-at least I can tune my own car up amongst other things-ah-the caddy will be the test!
