This looks like a good buy to me.
I realize the GC III is the least liked by Gold Crown fanatics but still a good buy at $1350.00 IMHO.

IMO. That table, in the condition shown, is a good buy up to $1800-$1900. I'd go for it.

I'll give you $951.00 for it! As long you deliver it and put new Simonis on it and throw in set of Centennials.

That is a sweet deal, I had a chance to buy a Gold Crown I about 15 years ago for $300.00 but I was in college and had no place to put it so I passed, I have wished many times over the years I would have bought it and put it in storage somewhere.

Storage gets expensive REAL FAST...check it out:

15 years x 12 months = 180 months x $30 = $5400

Of course, that is assuming you had to pay $30 a month, and couldn't talk a friend or family member into storing it for you.

Before COM, around late 70's early 80's you could pick up Gold Crowns for $300. or $400 every where. Bowling allays were turning their pool rooms into meeting and banquet rooms. No new rooms were opening and the rents, insurance electric, everything was going up making a pool room a bad investment. Tables were everywhere, a billiard supplies offered you a couple of hundred for a used table. I think Brunswick even stopped building tables for a time.
