Has anyone read the "Upscale Nine Ball" book by Jack Koehler and if so what did you think of it? Also what is the best nine ball book that you can reccomend? I would calassify myself as an intermediate player.
Good book! I play at about the level you describe.
Upscale One Pocket is a great little starter book and should be available on Amazon for about $15.00.

Phil Capelle's 9 ball book is the most in depth book I've seen. It covers pretty much every aspect of 9 ball and is sure to help out.

I haven't read this one. Of the books I have, I agree that Capelle's book is the most comprehensive.
For advanced play, the book "The Lesson" by the Monk has a lot of nice position plays and safety moves. This is ideal for those who want to improve their pattern play. The Lesson is the most helpful book I've found, despite it's strange zen-like tone.
