"Stickmen" - the movie...

Somebody had mentioned this movie (Stickmen www.stickmen.co.nz (http://www.stickmen.co.nz)) in this forum. So, I rented it yesterday.
It's not the worst movie, but it is possibly the worst billiards/pool movie.
It all revolves around an "underground" pool tournament for $500 K. 8-ball, 1 game, single elimination. Doesn't make sense.
So, rent it for any reason, but to see the pool tournament. It is funny and done like "Lock, Stock and two smoking barrels" and "Trainspottin" and other British movies (the movie was made in New Zealand). The sound is not very good (no captioning), and there are no extra features on the DVD.

I think it was Billiard boys where I saw the quote "Lock, Stock, and two Smoking Pool Cues."

Race to 1 for 500k, winner take all I assume?
Sounds like a cross between Poolhall Junkies, Lock Stock..., and a really bad Van Damme movie I saw in the early nineties.

I'll probably rent it tomorrow. im sure the girlfriend will love it.
