View Full Version : The Pool Room in Marietta, GA

Last weekend my wife had a convention to attend in Atlanta. I went with her so she wouldn't have to drive alone on the 5 hour trip. I had made plans to meet fellow CCB poster Heater451 at Barley's Billiards downtown, as it was the closest poolhall to my hotel. Turns out it opens late on Saturdays so Heater451 took me to the room he frequents, The Pool Room in Marietta.

Wow, this place is terrific! 30 tables (including a 12ft snooker table) with lots of room inbetween each. The food was great, the music was low enough to have a conversation and the place was clean. Really clean by my experience in the local rooms here.

The only drawback in my opinion is there is only one Diamond table. But there are plenty of Gold Crowns, so that makes up for the lack of Diamonds.

My thanks to Heater451 for driving me out of his way, just to show a vistor and fellow CCB'er a good time.

I believe The Pool Room is where Heater brought me to play. Very nice, and I had a great time.
