I've been checking the list of vendors at the super Billiard web site and I don't see a lot of custom cuemakers listed. I was hoping to drool over a lot of cues. Am I missing something?.

The ACA has a "block" of booths. There will be lots of cues there. Probably the largest collection at any one time in the US.

Tommy,

Do a little of your drooling at Reeves Custom Cues. He makes very nice cues at very attractive prices. And they play very well. And he's a heckuva nice guy. www.reevescues.com (http://www.reevescues.com) . Also check the cue gallery at www.poolplayersparadise.com (http://www.poolplayersparadise.com) ,page 2, for pics of one he built for me. The outer veneer for each point was cut from the same piece of cocobolo as the point, so the grain matches. A nice touch he added on his own. The pictures don't do the cue justice, IMO. I picked up the cue at Derby City, and he had it displayed while I was taking in the matches. A number of people looked at it and tried to by it from him.

Tell him Bob from Cincy says Hi.

I have no connection to the company.

Regards,
Bob

Add to that the cue dealers who deal exotic cues like Joe Salazar and Pool Table Magic (Classiccue.com), and you'll find you'll need a sponge. Or a bucket. YMMV.

I'd just like to put in a plug for Joe Salazar...

There are lots of cue dealers out there but none are as nice and cool as Joe. He's honest and fair and one of my favorite people in pool.
