I want to build new pocketless carom billiard rails for my 5x10 snooker table. What is needed is: the nose height of the rubber, the angle from nose to featherstrip, the profile of the rubber (and advice on quality), the inner dimensions, the height from floor to top of slate. Thanks in advance, David

the nose height is the same on all brands but the angle from the nose to the featherstripping is slightly different with different brands of rubber..artemis seems to be the one being used at the moment..
maybe you should call Gabriels / Verhoven / some company that specialises in Carom tables... I am sure they could help..

I am also interested in what you speak of and would be most appreciative if you would share your progress with us!
You can find some of the BCA specs for carom tables at this site:
They give three different sizes for carom balls. If you assume the 2 3/8" size where the center is 1/16" higher than a pool ball then I would assume the nose of the cushion should be 1/16" higher than on a pool table.
I may have the pool table specs on cushion height but can't seem to find them. I got the specs from Diamond and can probably get them at VF this weekend.
Mueller's has some info on rubber cushions. They give dimensions in the catalog. You can get some of them online but the carom rubber #36-222 doesn't seem to be there. The dimensions of the carom rubber are the same as the brunswick Superspeed # 36-221 which also is not shown on the website. Get the catalog:
