The Immortals are the greatest rock & roll artists of all time. They are also more than that. The fifty men, women and bands celebrated in the following pages are the singers, songwriters, record makers and performers who are continually in the music -- as pioneers, teachers and stars; touching our souls and pulling us to our feet, on a daily basis -- even when they are no longer with us. And this is not just a list.

Wow Muddy made it to 17th, i may have put him in the top 10. Led Zep and Holly should also be in top 10, although i like the fact the Hendrix and Berry are. and Pinkfloyd didn't even make the cut!

LOL Little Richard voted for himself..

The Doors and Led Zepellin should have both been in the top 10. Lynyrd Skynyrd should also have been on the list. I also believe Michael Jackson should be WAY higher on the list, despite him being a wacko....he was one of the greatest artists ever.

Two HUGE omissions:

The Sex Pistols without a doubt belong in this group and if they're going to include Public Enemy they gotta include NWA.

Public Enemy and Run DMC have no business in that list.

Also, even though they aren't my favorite, I can't help but notice Aerosmith isn't in that list. These guys have been pumping out songs for 4 decades now. They should have quit 2 decades ago, but they should still be in that list.
