Now why would the Heinz company want to distance itself from the Kerry campaign when it would stand to receive a ton of free advertising? My guess...They know Kerry is not as popular as the liberal media suggests. I guess marriage is not that strong a bond when it comes to business and politics. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Here is an interesting read (http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=509&u=/ap/20040329/ap_on_bi_ge/politics_of_business&printer=1) . Why is there such a strong effort to distance themselves from the Kerry campaign?

I'll be glad when this is over so I can buy more Heinz ketchup. I don't know if my current bottle will last thru November
