Selecting a cue, length vs armspan.

I'm 6' 3" tall with a 6' 6" armspan.

Does anyone know if there is a standard calculation for selecting a cue length?

My friend has the longest Cuetec available on the site and it seems too short for me. On most shots my hand is on the butt of the cue and could rest farther back if the cue was longer.

Ok, his calculation was 80% of your armspan.

With a 76 inch armspan, the ideal cue (by his calculation) is 60.8.

That sounds about right.
