I'm 6' 3" tall with a 6' 6" armspan.

Does anyone know if there is a standard calculation for selecting a cue length?

My friend has the longest Cuetec available on the site and it seems too short for me. On most shots my hand is on the butt of the cue and could rest farther back if the cue was longer.

Jimmy Reid talks a little bit about this subject at this link:http://www.freepoollessons.com/cue4u.shtml I also seen some measurments on one of my Pool videos.I'm not sure which one right at the moment. If I come across it again, I'll post it up for you.RJ

Ok, his calculation was 80% of your armspan.

With a 76 inch armspan, the ideal cue (by his calculation) is 60.8.

That sounds about right.

Thanks for the links.
