"It's nice prize money this week," said Jim "King James" Rempe, an 11-time world champion. "I wish that pool was like other sports where you can play 10 or 15 years during your prime and then be able to quit with enough money to get on the other side of the business. But it never boomed."
Rempe, who is a nominee for the Bowling Congress Association's Hall of Fame this year, feels that a few things have to happen in order for the sport to thrive.
