There has been so much information lately showing Clarke has been not telling the truth (either right now, or for the past 8 years) and it seems the commission is taking notice.

Here is a link (http://www.washtimes.com/national/20040407-124241-3624r.htm) to a NewsMax story about Clarke and the Commission.

[ QUOTE ]
Mr. Clinton wrote in the preface, "We are blessed to be citizens of a country enjoying record prosperity with no deep divisions at home, no overriding external threats abroad, and history's most powerful military ready to defend our interests around the world."

If there were no overriding external threats abroad, why does Clarke still demand that Al Qaeda was considered such an urgent threat? So is he lying now, or then? Surely somewhere the truth has been told, we just don't know when.
