4,949 USD per gallon
=> 0.902 Euro per Liter in Austria

Next time you get the feeling you pay to much, just remember that others have to pay nearly twice!

I buy the low octane stuff, so I am paying $1.75/gal. I think the most I have seen the 93 octane go for here in Orlando was $1.99 and that was last week. The prices have come down a couple pennies in the last week.

eg8r <~~~happy it only costs $15 to fill the tank and I am good for 1.5 weeks.

We were driving all over the place till that one day when we needed to fill up. We pulled into the station and I looked at the prices. I thought they were not that bad, until I looked a little closer and saw that those prices were by the liter. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif An eye opening to say the least. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif

See? This is what I love about New Jersey. It's the only state in the Union that you can't pump your own. I'm lost when I go out of state and have to buy gas. I'm the one you see reading the instructions on the side of the pump and then just end up asking the nearest person.

The Beast requires premium - $1.81.

Here in Michigan it hovers around 1.75 - 1.85 lately. Back around 95 - 97 when I was stationed in NC, the prices were comparable to Michigans. We used to travel to Florida ALOT and the Cheapest place we could ever find gas was the last exit in Georgia just off I-95. At that time it would be common to still hit .98 or so. We stopped no matter what at that place.

We've been around $2.00 for the last month for 'regular'.
$2.20 for premium.

They say that it will get up to $3/gal by mid summer.

But, my milage has been reduced by over 250/mile a week. So, compared to what I was paying in Ohio, I am buying less gas, but at a higher price.

CarolNYC

Back during a gas crisis I would drive the Thruway to New Balitmore get $10 worth get off the next exit and go north and get $10 more. It worked for a while till they started making you drive to the next gas island.

I got gas in Nj for 164 for regular near Mawah.####

As a kid it was $.14 to .17, In my late teens it was a quarter. I left Colorado and moved to LA. On the way out there, late at night, I noticed I needed gas. It was late and a station was closed for the night. Man couldn't make it to the next town so I waited for them to open. Holly crap when they opened and gas was $.52. I put in enough to get to the next town, what a rip off. ha ha ha

To answer your question Carol, between 1.90 to 1.95. That was two weeks ago, it's probably more now.

1.97 in Seattle as of today for regular. 2.20 for premium.

Mexico and Costa Rica were both about 2.00/gal, 0.50/L all winter. Mexico sends their crude to us for refining, and we send it back as fuel. (They have no refineries)

Diesel was the same as Gas. El Salvador and Nicaragua were about the same. I don't know about Guatamala, that place is not very friendly to Norteamericanos so I didn't stop there.

Maybe we should get together and hire a CCB tanker to go to Kuwait and buy it for 0.67, and we'll split it...

Adjusted for what? I think Q's numbers are already adjusted into US dollars for our easy digestion. If it was Euro's, that would be about $6.00 or so... maybe a little more, I haven't looked at the exchange rate recently. Last I saw it was about 1.19 dollars to a Euro.

Q can answer that better than I can, but I'm sure they have. It's pretty much dependent on the price of crude, which is artificially high right now due to the Mid East situation.

Just another reason for the rest of the world to be pissed off at the good old US of A!

In the meantime, the Saudi's are quietly gettng rich off the %30 increase in crude.
