I recently got a new shaft for my Pechauer. It was super smooth for a while, but after a couple weeks it got a little sticky. Just wondering if the new shafts come sealed? Or is it just plain wood? It seems like after I clean and Slicky/Glide my shaft it stays smooth for alot longer(3-4 months) then a new shaft. /ccboard/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Most new shafts are sealed.
I agree with my customers who mostly prefer natural wood, no sealer, no wax. Just burnished.
