Find the pic you want on a website.

Right click on the pic.

click "properties" from the menu that appears.

you will see a file name for the pic (It's actually a url I guess /ccboard/images/graemlins/confused.gif). Highlight it and copy it to your clipboard (ctrl/c)

When you post to CCB click on "image" and paste the file name /url into the box that appears.

If you want to post a pic from your harddrive you will have to find a webserver to move it to first. Many ISP's will give you space you can use. If that is what you are asking, check with your ISP and if you need further help let me know.

Hi, thanks for the help. I have a picture saved on a cd. Is there any way I can load it from there? Or do I have to put it on someones web page to do it? I'm not the best when it comes to stuff like that. I tried to right click copy and then paste but that didn't work. Thanks again. Oh, I found it under FAQ. Must be on web. Where do you see "image" to click on?

<font color="blue">It has to be on a webpage. I think you can post it at AZbilliards though but I'm not sure. </font color>

<font color="blue">When you post you type your text in a box. Underneath the box it says Instant UBB Code. "image" is in there </font color>

I did a google search for free image server and found this
http://www.miamihost.net/upgrade.html
This is one example of services you could use

There are many ways to get an image up to the internet. Your first option should probably be to call your ISP and see if they have space you can use. If not, you could use a service like the one above. Another option is to find any sort of board that allows posting from the hard drive and then look at the HTML code of the page, You will see something that looks like this

http://mrgrumman.home.comcast.net/CowboyGeorge.JPG

which is what you use to post the pic in this forum

Allright I think I got it. Even tho' I have soo many passwords zinging around in my head I wont be able to stand up. I was able to get some space from my ISP.

I'm sure windows ( I assume you use windows ) has some built in programs to resize. I use a free program called the GIMP for image manipulation since it runs on windows and unix. It is a bit overkill for just resizing but you might enjoy playing with the other stuff you can do too.

Hey Wally,

Is that you? I know pictures can be deceiving, but in that one you resemble George Bush!
