Olhausen Finish

Hi,
I've been shopping for a new 8ft furniture style pool table. One dealer (not Olhausen) told me that the Olhausen solid wood tables will fade if they are exposed to sunlight, due to the type of finish used (water-based). Has anyone ever had that problem? Is there any truth to this, or was it just a sales pitch?

I can only respond from my woodworking experience of 40 + years..i make high end bars and cabinets..the water based poly finish that i use is superior to laquer in that it will not yellow or wear down with age..most water based polys are like this...i would not hesitate to buy an Olhausen ..call Olhausen's factory and speak with someone.good luck

Can you PM me the brand?
We use auto finish but water based finish is more enviro friendly. If it does not turn yellow and adheres really well, I'll try it.
