WASHINGTON (Reuters) - With the U.S. presidential election approaching, late night television comics are poking fun at the candidates.
Here are some of the lines broadcast on Wednesday:
NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno":
"John Kerry met with Howard Dean this week to get strategic advice. That make sense? Shouldn't he get strategic advice from someone who actually won a primary? Isn't that like getting public relations advice from Donald Rumsfeld?"
ABC's "Late Show" with David Letterman:
the White House is now saying that they still do not have a timetable for when the U.S. will be out of Iraq although they hinted that it might be early in the Kerry administration."
