View Full Version : Lucasi or Fury
i want to buy a new cue and i like the Fury RP-4 model http://www.insidepool.com/order/product_info.php/cPath/44_57_60/products_id/273 and the Lucasi LE 12 http://www.billiardswarehouse.com/cues/lucasi/lucasi_le12.htm but the problem is that i only have the cash for the Lucasi and the question is that should i wait and save up for the Fury or just go with the Lucasi? and please dont say something like "what feels better to you" or something like that all im asking is what would YOU do...

I would go with the Lucasi L-EL. The cue is made with cocobolo and ebony which should look very nice. The pictures at the site are not great but the price of the L-EL is very attractive.
This is the description:
Lucasi pool cue with a cocobolo forearm with ebony and six micarta ovals. The butt is cocobolo with ebony and six micarta ovals. This cue features two sets of ebony and maple checkered box rings surrounded by nickel silver. The wrap is black with white spec irish linen. This cue has the Uniloc quick release joint. This cue comes with one shaft with a 13mm pro taper.

I'd go with the Fury.

I'd have to go with the Lucasi myself as well. I think that they play VERY well for the $$$$$.

For the money IMO you can't beat the Lucasi, I have afew pool playing buddies that have put there custom sticks away (Abear & Bludworth) and are playing with Lucasi. I have played afew racks with them and they hit solid and feel good. So go with the Lucasi and then upgrade to a 314 shaft.

Apparently you want something with some decoration. This cue is not real fancy but if you want a lot of cue for the money you might want to consider this McDermott
I GOT THE LUCASI! i couldnt wait for the FUry i just had to get a cue,i bought the cue at the local pool shop the marked price was $260 and the guy took $60 off because i bought my table from there... the cue hits beutifully... this just wants me to buy another cue so i think im going to save my money for a lucasi L-E65 http://www.billiardswarehouse.com/cues/lucasi/lucasi_le65.htm this cue is so nice... /ccboard/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
