I watched the Derby City Ring 10-Ball game last week. Ralf Souquet was the first player knocked out, and when he left, he broke down his cue and put these what appeared to be hard plastic or metal covers on the tips, probably to prevent chalk from getting into his case. Has anyone seen these for sale anywhere? Maybe he had them made, but it seems like a good idea for a neatnik like myself-

Don't know about the tip covers but if you are a true neatnik I can hook you up with some of Johnny Archer's "invisible lint" that he is constantly picking off the table /ccboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I'm not sure if they are the same, but a very long time ago, I saw tip covers on some internet site. Unfortunately, I have no idea what site it was. /ccboard/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Yeah, that stuff is really hard to get off the table :-)
Johnny is a trip to watch. He got slower and slower as the game progressed. He went through his idiosyncratic rituals more and more as time went on. He can sure shoot a good stick, though. I was really impressed with Jose Parica as well. Near the end when he was all in, he ran out what looked to be an impossible layout to stay alive. I would recommend the DVD to anyone, very good video and sound. Jimmy M got a little annoying, but Danny D is an excellent pool commentator-

These are much nicer than the covers I remember seeing.
The covers I saw were pretty cheesy looking, compared to these.
