AUGUST 17-24, 2002 VEGAS

CAN ANYONE PLEASE TELL ME THE FOLLOWING. TWO YEARS AGO I WENT TO VEGAS DURING AUGUST TO WATCH THE APA AMATEURS AND WHILE THERE THE PROS WERE PLAYING PROFESSIONAL 8 BALL. THIS YEAR I AM GOING TO VEGAS AUGUST 17TH TO 24TH TO GET MARRIED AROUND THE POOL REGIONALS. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANY OF THE PROS ARE SCHEDULED TO PLAY AT THE RIVERIA THAT WEEK AND IF SO WHO WILL BE PLAYING? PLEASE RESPOND

As far as I know there is no longer a pro event in connection with the APA event in August. Camel no longer has a tour.

Yes, there is a pro event going on at the same time.... It's not a Camel event, but it is a 64 player Pro Event nonetheless.. its called the Las Vegas Invitational, produced by Allen Hopkins, $20,000 cash added...
And yes, its in the Riviera, right down the hall from the APA event....
