Is it just me or do others find that when they get surprised with an opportunity to play, and they are not packing with their pride and joy that it nags at you? For some reason it is a comfort to have my whole pool case with the favorite cue plus the backup and the jumper. I can play off the wall, maybe better at times...still it's just knowing that I don't have the artificial confidence saddled into the possession of having my big case available to me that seems to jab at me under those times(especially when the impromptu dollar games jump up.) TIA...sid~~~has played tournaments with wall sticks when the big case was there, just enjoys "knowing" there are options

I agree.. I really like to be in a stange hall (usually on an out of town trip) and play "off the wall".

It is a little less pressure, when an old fat man is using a house cue, not much is expected..... but in a little bar tournament I am accused of being very lucky.. while pocketing the winners cash.. LOL
