This come from an Oklahoma Genealogist that was passed along to me. There is a lot more to his message but this cuts to the chase. Any opinions?

All War Veterans Read Below (Courtesy of Dick Noonan......)

Make sure you read below--Courtesy of Robert "Tookie" Key.......

I don't know who wrote this, but whoever did, is "right on target."

Arab Outrage?

I will be the first to admit what the MP's in the prison did is not in
accordance with the Geneva Convention however, when was the last time that
we fought a war with an enemy that did observe the rules of war.

Remember the Baatan Death March, remember the ovens in Poland, Austria and
Hungary?

Remember the beating our prisoners endured at the hands of the Viet Cong?

To hell with Arab outrage!

Arabs are "outraged" over the humiliation of Iraqi prisoners at the hands of
a few American servicemen.

Where were these "outraged" Arabs when necrophiliacs in Fallujah mutilated
four American soldiers by stepping on their burnt skulls and hung their
burnt bodies from a bridge?

Where were these "outraged" Arabs when "Palestinians" mutilated and dragged
the bodies of two IDF soldiers in Ramallah?

Where were these "outraged" Arabs when 19 Muslims blew up the World Trade
Center and the Pentagon on 9/11/01?

Where were these "outraged" Arabs when Muslims continue to slaughter
Sudanese Christians?

Where were these "outraged" Arabs when Muslims blew up Pan Am Flight 103?

Where were these "outraged" Arabs when Muslims bombed the marine barracks in
Lebanon killing 241 Americans in 1983?

Where were these "outraged" Arabs when Muslims bombed the USS COLE?

Where were these "outraged" Arabs when Muslims bombed the American embassies
in Africa killing 231 people?

Where were these "outraged" Arabs when Abu Mazen engineered the "Black
September" Terror Attack during the Munich Olympics, which killed 11 Israeli
athletes and a U.S. citizen?

Where were these "outraged" Arabs when ABu Abbas threw the wheel-chair bound
Leon Klinghoffer overboard on the Achille Lauro?

Where were these "outraged" Arabs when "Palestinian" rioters torched the
Jewish-only Joseph's Tomb ?

Where were these "outraged" Arabs when the Taliban blew up the Buddhist
statues in Afghanistan?

Where were these "outraged" Arabs when simultaneous blasts rocked two of
downtown Istanbul's synagogues killing at least 15 people and wounding at
least 140?

Where were these "outraged" Arabs when "Palestinians" handed out candies
celebrating the deaths of 3000 Americans on 9-11-01?

Where were these "outraged" Arabs when Jemaah Islamiyah suicide bombers
killed 12 people and injured 150 at the J.W. Marriott in Jakarta, Indonesia?

Where were these "outraged" Arabs when bomb attacks in Morocco killed at
least 28 people and injure more than 100?

Where were these "outraged" Arabs when suicide bombers killed 12 people at
an Israeli-owned beach hotel in Kenya and two missiles narrowly miss an
airliner carrying Israelis?

Where were these "outraged" Arabs when nearly 200 people, including seven
Americans, were killed in bombings in a nightclub district of the Indonesian
island of Bali?

Where were these "outraged" Arabs when 300,000 Iraqi's bodies were found in
mass graves?

Where was their indignation, folks? You know where? NOWHERE.

It was nowhere because Arab outrage when someone non-Arab is a victim, does
not exist, it does not rate. Why? Because the Arab culture knows nothing but
how to be proud and arrogant. The culture is a cohesive political glob of
people united simply by political identity and not at all by morality.

It's time for the rest of us, who DO know the difference between right and
wrong, to tell the world that these "outraged" idiots are too pathetic to
warrant any sympathy from the rest of us.

We're waiting for these "outraged" Arabs to get up the manhood to be
disgusted BY THEIR OWN people for the disgusting crimes they have committed
against others.

Then we'll shed a tear!

As far as the torture question goes, it has been shown over and over that physical coersion in ineffective as an interrogation technique. The person on the receiving end will eventually say anything to end the interrogation, true or not.

I believe that captured terrorists should be interrogated under Sodium Pentothal, or something equivalent. This causes no physiological harm, and the information is much more reliable.

When it comes to sympathy for the Arabs, I reserve mine for the Arab women. They are treated like cattle.

On a side note, I did some work a few years ago for an arab (a Morrocan) on a website project. This was in Seattle. We went out to eat dinner one evening after work. This guy treated the female waitstaff in the restaurant like dirt. After a while, I had to speak up and explain to him that his attidude was not anywhere close to acceptable in the US. He acted like I was not being a "real man" by defending the waitress. His treatment of her was totally offensive, but it was indicative of the way women are viewed in arab countries.

Also, he was the hardest customer I have ever had when it came to getting paid. He never paid off when the work was completed, and the only way I ever collected was by refusing to do more work until the back payments were caught up. I finally got sick of it and told him I wouldn't do any more work for him. I ended up getting stiffed for about a grand, but it was worth it to be rid of him.

I definately agree with this post. It's not all Arabs though. I've met some that are very nice people. I do believe that the Arab culture is very cruel and inhumane. Especially their treatment of women, and disregard for human life. Stealing a loaf of bread because you are hungry, and getting your hands chopped off.... that sucks. How about this one- In Lebanon, a woman was raped by a man. The man went to prison for 10 days, and the woman's brother shot and killed her. He did it, and was happy about it. He said that since she was now "impure" it was his duty to kill her. It was actually legal for him to do that. That disgusts me.

Actually if there is any Arab outrage over Abu-Graib it is feigned outrage, used strictly to gain an upper hand in world opinion, because they know that what happens in thier prisons is far far worse then anything that happened in Abu-Graib.

From what I have heard this is a pretty common practice that has been used extensively in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Gitmo.

Let's face it, we f-d up, we were exposed, and WE are supposed to be far better that the rest of the world. Our wrong doesn't make anything else others have done or not done in the past right. Glow rods up someone's wazzu!? BS! Our leadership over there dropped the biggest ball, and I'd be mad as hell too if I were an Arab.

Some of the conservatives here sure waffle on the bad behavior issues they seem to want to defend otherwise at other times. I expected no less though...sid

I hope Iraq becomes the first successful democratic arabian country in that region.
But, of course, the zealots will do everything to prevent it.
After all, exploiting ignorant poeple with religion is a heck a lot easier than exploiting educated people.
