Just a reminder that the whole of the final of the 2002 Embassy World Snooker Championship between Stephen Hendry and Peter Ebdon over the best of 35 frames can be seen live over the internet courtesy of BBC online.

At the following times stated in EDT in the United States, go to the BBC Sport Snooker website and click on the Live tv coverage link (requires RealPlayer):

http://www.bbc.co.uk/snooker/

Sunday, May 5

First Session's play (8 frames):
10:00am - 1:00pm

Second session's play (8 frames):
3:00pm - 5:30pm

Monday, May 6

Third session's play (8 frames):
10:00am - 1:00pm

Fourth session's play (11 frames):
3:00pm - 5:30pm

If sessions run longer than the time allocated for broadcast, it is usual practice for the BBC to stay with it until the very end -- the reason why the Embassy World Championship concludes on a Monday for which may seem an odd day, is for the first Monday in May in the UK is a national holiday.

It's a repeat of the 1996 Embassy World Championship final which Hendry won 18-12, and he will start as favorite to pick up the $377,000 first prize and to win his eighth world title. It should however be a very high-quality final and one not to be missed.
