Was wondering if anyone could post an explanation/diagram of the "shot heard around the world" in the Reyes/Stickland match in the 21st Sands Open finals. Thanks!

If I remember correctly, Efren was attempting to play a safety off of the 5, hiding the cueball behind the six, which he did perfectly, only he sank the 8 in the process and ended up like this:


So, in typical Reyes fashion, he manages to kick two rails and sink the five like this:

The whole crowd goes crazy and Efren ends up fairly good on the six. He pockect that and the seven and is left with a less than desirable angle on the 9, but Earl gives it to him anyway.

One of the best matches I have seen as well as shot. FYI, I was able to find that match on ebay for a real good price. You can check there too if you can't get it at accu.

This is actually how Efren made the shot- Lots of hi-right sends the CB at the OB at a more favorable angle...
