View Full Version : Suggestion for Light fixture
My friend has just about finished restoring a Brunswick Aviator 4x8 pool table ca. 1918 and ask me if could find him some light fixture that would go with that type of table. figured i asked all you know it alls /ccboard/images/graemlins/wink.gif if you might know of something nice and maybe Prices.

Have a look through these. Mueller (http://www.poolndarts.com/store.cfm/cat/105.cfm) If I did buy one of these fixtures, it would be 4 lights. I thought one might go with the room and table. Personally I like florescent for even lighting.

I have a friend that makes Custom Pool Table Lights. Send me a PM & I'll send you some pictures of his work. Each of his Fluorescent Fixtures has 4 lamps. He can make the fixture from the same kind of wood or a contrasting wood & put the matching Slate Bolt Covers on the sides to match.

I like my pool table light. It's a brass and glass light and I'm using thse large (I think they're 4") 60 watt globe style incandescent bulbs. Those big bulbs are terrific for pool tables, because they throw light with no glare. The main thing is to have a pretty long fixture - like about 5' for an 8' table.
