I see alot of sellers(on ebay) saying this is a level 4 or 5 cue,how do they rate that! can someone explain the differance in how a cue especially a southwest have a rating (level)

Just a guess here, but IIRC, the Blue Book of cues uses this type of rating system for cues based on the number of points/inlays, etc.

justbrake...They are likely using the descriptions mentioned in the Blue Book of Cues. The different levels indicate more detail, and higher original costs. If you can find a copy of the Blue Book, you can acquaint yourself with what those descriptions mean, regarding various cues, such as Southwest, etc.

Ok Justbreak,

We have a couple of them Blue Books at work. The first and second addition so, I'll look it up tonight and post it when I get home. I'll write it word for word. I can tell you now. It's very general and the other levels kind of overlap eachother. You'll get the drift though.

Ok here it is,

Level 1) 4 points Hustler
2) 0 " 0-25 Inlays
3) 2-6 " 0-8 "
4) 4-10 " 9-25 "
5) 0-12 " 26-50 "
6) 0-12 " 51-75 "
7) 0-12 " 76-125 "
8) 4 or more " 126 or more "
