View Full Version : Jump/break cue
I should have asked this before I bought it, but didn't. I recently purchased a jump/break cue. What I need to know is....How does it work. I assume it has two joints for a purpose. Now, I only use it to break with.

You need a table and balls. LOL
The butt breaks in two pieces. With the jump handle and shaft, the cue should be around 41 inches long.
You know how to jump the cueball (the dart-style)?
The light short stick is excellent for that.
See: http://www.bunjeejump.com/2k_changes/bunjee_instructions_2k.htm#Using%20the%20Dart%20St roke (you don't need the bunjee jumper for jumping, your shortened stick with a hard tip should do)

my jump break cue is a cuetec. affordable yet effective
From what I understand, you use the full cue (all 3 pieces together) for breaking. For jumping, it depends on the cue, either remove the last section OR remove the middle section. In otherwords, you only have 2 pieces together.
I hope this helps.

Just curious, did you replace the original tip with a much harder one?
I have been wondering about this for a while. Most players that I know that do have jump cues, have had the hardest tip available put on them.
But you need a Bunjee to insure that we can continue to provide resources like the tutorial and videos. :-))
