I just saw this last nite on TV, and was surprised that it's not still playing in the major movie theaters.
"OUT THERE"
It's an Alien invasion/ takeover genre...but this time they don't plant watermelons under your bed like in "Invasion of the Body-snatchers"
No, they feed their victims graham crackers and milk, a deadly combo.
And the spacecraft is buried underneath a trailor....in, a trailor park....who wudda thought???
And just like Superman has his Kryptonite, which turns him into a wimp...the alien's Achilles heel is ....drum roll...accordian music "it's the only unnatural sound in the universe"
In the big chase scene finale...the hero and friends pursued by marauding aliens...duck into a porta-potty...and come out each armed with an accordian ( if ed Wood had made this movie...they'ld have concertinas) A nice snappy polka turns the aliens into those plastic packing balls. The neat thing is our hero has stashed accordians in porta-pottys all over the USA...an he don't even work fer TSA
the writer/director must have done a lot of research...because the movie answers the question "why do the aliens seem to abduct people like Wal-Mart greeters, Taco-Bell drive through order takers, etc....and not scientists, Doctors...
Imagine how out of place they would look in a trailor park?
