They are hard to come by and there are many fake early SW's that people claim to be Kershes, but you should expect to pay at least $2,500 for a plain jane and you should also stop with the caps lock. You can also try to find Omega DPK as well as SW's and his own, all hard to pry away from people IMO.

Dr Wu's prices on his kersh's are real hi. Ive email him once about a kersh sneaky pete and he wanted $8000 for it. But he does have a good relationship with Kersenbrock hence alot of David's cues goes to Dr. Wu.

Well, the thing with Wu is that he doesn't need to be selling cues at all. That never helps the buyer looking for a deal, unfortunately.

His other cues (Hercecks, for instance) are priced on the high side, but not exceedingly so (imo). I have no idea what the collector's value on his Kersenbrocks are, so I can't comment on the $8000 DPK Sneaky! Maybe that's the only one he made?

I had heard in strick confidence that David is making cues and has been for awhile. It just isn't totally public knowledge. I'll have to see and talk to my friend and see what's up. I am talking 2004.

Roger,

He didn't actually make the $8,000 sneaky pete - he just cut it in half and put in a screw. The ones he actually makes go for $16,000, so the $8,000 sneaky pete is really a good deal.

I see.

Hey, totally OT but did you see Dr. Wu's photo with Ernie G. of Ginacue on his site? He's trying to HOLD ERNIE'S HAND! God the look on Ernie's face is freakin' priceless.

dpk is still making VERY expensive cues, most of which are going to the far east.

As long as he pays full list price, Ernie will let him snuggle a little.
