what Ferrule would you recommend to put on a Custom Cue?

Ivor-x all the way. All (or most) of the pro's of ivory, and not (that i know of) of the cons. And it's less expensive (way less) than ivory.

Thanks,

Jon

Malimine (sp?) Not as soft as Ivory but plays clean and consistant.

Ivor-X !!! They polish nicely, resist most scratches, and chalk. They also have a nice firm hit. My favorite! /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ivor-x! i think this would have to be the best right now. been using ivorine III and phenolic for the last couple of years and when i changed to ivor-x, i got my feel of the cue and of my shot. great ferrule

i am having ivory ferrules put on the custom that i ordered. but if you don't really want to spend the money on ivory, i would go with melamine or ivor-x. they both play pretty well but i really love the feel that the ivory gives you.
