For our friends in Florida and South Carolina,
Keep your heads down, guys. Be safe. Looks like you might be in for some weather.

-CM~~~climate is what you expect. Weather is what you get.

Looks like Bonnie is going to cause some flooding. Charlie might be a bit more harsh. /ccboard/images/graemlins/frown.gif I was planning on going to Myrtle Beach this weekend, but that's out now. /ccboard/images/graemlins/mad.gif
Maybe we will get this stuff out of the way before the US Open this year. /ccboard/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Speaking of the US Open, scroll down this webpage and see what the boys and girls went through last year:

Oh yeah, that was a doozie. I woke up Thursday morning last year, looked out the window and saw my first hurricane. Well, really my second since my first was Hurricane Gloria back in the 80s when I was in elementary school but it looked nothing like Isabel.

So anyway, I was staying at the Hampton Inn and every morning walked over and past the lake to the Holiday Inn to have breakfast with Kato and crew. That morning I called up Kato:

Kato: Yeah
Me: Um, can somebody come and get me?
Kato: Aren't you gonna come over?
Me: Yeah, but the wind is gonna blow me into the lake!
Kato: Aw come on it's only 60mph winds.
Me: Yeah and?
Kato: That's nothing compared to what we get in Florida!
Me: But I'm scaaarrrreeddd. (in my best weak feeble female voice which I'm not very good at)
Kato: Ok Gene is coming.

This is what was outside of our hotel rooms that day:

And on the way to Q-Masters which we found out had no power after we got there:

We are in for a good one. It has been a couple years since one really came this close to us (Orlando). I guess the company is waiting a little longer to see just how close it is going to be before they tell us we get the afternoon off (no way they are giving us the morning also /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif ).
