I searched the archives and all I found recommended was Jimmy Reid's The Art of 8-ball. Any other books or video's you 8ball players out there would recommend?

I'm mainly looking for strategy, runout patterns, and safeties.

"How would you play this?" - George Fels - shows situations and solutions for 8-ball, 9-ball, and 14.1. Good mental exercise book.

"The 8-ball bible" especially if you're talking bar boxes.

We got 'the 8ball bible'. Even though it is for bar boxes, it had some really good strategy and safety play in it. I did not get to read the whole thing because ww misplaced it somewhere so guess we will have to buy it again. It also had some things on the mental game in the beginning of the book.

The 8-Ball Handbook for Winners (Larry Schwartz) is only 32 pages long but has a lot of very useful content.
