View Full Version : Where to buy Aramyth Pro TV cue ball?
08-20-2004, 10:13 AM
Does anybody know where I can purchase a cue ball from the Aramyth (sp?) Pro TV set? It is the cue ball that has large red dots all over the ball. I don't want to purchase the whole set of TV balls, just the cue ball. I contacted Aramyth through their website, but I didn't get a response.
Any help? Thanks.

I don't find them on the Mueller site, but they are listed in the catalog. They are called the Super Aramith Pro Cup cueball.

I believe that Spetty or Barbara called Mueller and they told her that the catalog was not up to date. The cueball shouldn't be in it as they don't sell is separatly !

I just looked it up, it was SPetty:
"finally got an answer from Muellers. Their catalog was printed back when they thought they were going to get the cue balls from Aramith, but they do not sell the cue balls separately."

Quote RedHell:
...it was SPetty

Yep. They also said that they have seen it on eBay for a pretty high price. They also said they've heard rumors that it might be available this fall, but so far, it's just a rumor.

Thanks for the information, Susan. I had seen them in the catalog, but hadn't tried ordering one yet. I hope to get a table at home around Christmas, and planned on getting the Super Pro cup ball to try out.

I also struck out with Muellers ... but somebody's selling a number of them on eBay right now, supposedly from a shipment of full sets with damaged packaging or somesuch. A few separate auctions, here's one.

Hawleys. They advertise for 22$ each.

They are no longer sold indavidually, you must by the set from what I understand. The only way I have seen just to get the cueball is on ebay.
FWIW I have one (I bought the set) and I actually like playing with it.

I just ordered 2 off Ebay. There are a few more on there. About 50 bucks each. Seller has a great rating. I will post back whenI have the product in hand. Said he got them from a few damaged ball sets but that the Cueballs are unharmed.
wow, 50 bucks for a 10 or 15 dollar cue ball. Got to love them dots spinning a lot.

unfortunately they arnt available for 15 or sold sperately regularly, so some people would find this 50 dollars totally worth it rather then paying 130 for the whiole ball set.

You can have one for about 85¢...
Take a red marker and draw 6 spot on your regular CB /ccboard/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I would think that if anyone wanted the measle cueball that bad then they should buy the new set with the cueball included and sell their old set and then end up with the cueball they wanted and a new set of balls.
