(forwarded to me):

Hello all,
This edition of E-quotes is chock full of ignorance.
You see, when you laugh at how stupid and beefheaded some people are,
it can make feel better about yourself. I recommend it to everybody.
If after you read this, you feel like a genius, that mean it's working.
My personal favorites are #'s 2 and 12....

17 Reasons Why Idiots Should Not Be Allowed Outdoors

These quotations are actual comments left on Forest Service
registration sheets and comment cards by hikers completing wilderness
camping trips:

1. "Escalators would help on steep uphill sections."
2. "A small deer came into my camp and stole my bag of pickles. Is
there a way I can get reimbursed? Please call."
3. "Instead of a permit system or regulations, the Forest Service
needs to reduce worldwide population growth to limit the number of
visitors to wilderness."
4. "Trails need to be wider so people can walk while holding hands."
5. "Ban walking sticks in wilderness. Hikers that use walking sticks
are more likely to chase animals."
6. "All the mile markers are missing this year."
7. "Found a smoldering cigarette left by a horse."
8. "Trails need to be reconstructed. Please avoid building trails that
go uphill."
9. "Too many bugs and leeches and spiders and spider webs. Please
spray the wilderness to rid the area of these pests."
10. "Please pave the trails so they can be plowed of snow in the
winter."
11. "Chairlifts need to be in some places so that we can get to
wonderful views without having to hike to them."
12. "The coyotes made too much noise last night and kept me awake.
Please eradicate these annoying animals."
13. "Reflectors need to be placed on trees every 50 feet so people can
hike at night with flashlights."
14. "A McDonald's would be nice at the trailhead."
15. "The places where trails do not exist are not well marked."
16. "Too many rocks in the mountains."
17. "Need more signs to keep area pristine."

More Ignorance
In 2001, in Muskegon, Michigan, a man was charged with unlawful use of
a harmful device after he blew up his home while sniffing propane gas
and smoking marijuana. No one was seriously injured in the blast, which
blew the home off its foundaton and damaged two neighboring houses.

W's Words of Wisdom
"I'm also not very analytical. You know I don't spend a lot of time
thinking about myself, about why I do things."
-Bush, June 4, 2003

There now, don't you feel better about yourself? I try.
Remember, only YOU can prevent idiots from going outdoors and running
the country, so do your part. The use of padlocks, shanks and ballots
is recommended.....preferably not in that order: vote before you risk
imprisonment.
Peace out,

#17 is my favorite /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif
