Ft. Leonard Wood Area?

I will be attending a school at Ft. leonard Wood in September. Can anyone reccommend a good place to shoot some pool in the area? Maybe some tournaments?

I never heard of that place so I did a Google search but did not find any Pool infomation. Considering what they teach there I would not want to agitate anyone. /ccboard/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Good luck in whatever you are training for.

I've been through that area a few times, but never stopped to scope the place out. I would venture to say that since it's a rural location in Mo., you are probably gonna be stuck shooting in bars in the area rather thana regular pool hall. That's just a guess though.

When I was there (just after the war between the states), Fort Leonard Wood had its own free-standing poolroom, and I know it was there 20 years after I was. You might want to check that out. FLW also had a passable steak house, an EXCELLENT gym/fieldhouse, and five separate movie houses. Enjoy your stay! GF
